The Roots smashed the game with this track consisting of REAL MC's straight from Philly. Track was so fire, that Big Pun(RIP) had to rip a freestyle to this joint. Shout out to The Roots for staying original and not CLONES!!

Pardon me while I laugh at wack rappers....Woooo!!
There wasn't a soul on the planet that could mess with this dude. Sitting at a traffic light on White Plains Rd & Bruckner Blvd and all you heard was DMX blastin out of everyone's car. Mixtape's were moving this song faster than burgers at White Castle at 4AM. Shout to the Grand Champ for the movement that took the world by storm.

This joint with N.O.R.E struck me as odd at first listen. With talk of going platinum right after releasing the album seemed like they were a ahead of themselves, man was I wrong! After listening to the entire album minutes later I knew it would explode. I like this video for the way Pun was setting it all up for hollywood. Shout out to N.O.R.E. for makin it happen!! R.I.P. Shortly after you heard this song for the first time, you know that NYC still had one left. The fact that someone could abuse a track that was already known for its ridiculous bass line and a young Snoop Dogg was unheard of until Pun(R.I.P.). After closely scanning this album I still can't believe he took that beat and made it his own. This record let's you know there was no room for wack Mc's. Shout to Joe Crack for bringing this rhyme legend to the game. R.I.P Big Pun

There are certain songs that ring off in the clubs and hype the crowd, but this one is sure to get a brawl started. Wild track from these cats from Queens that blew up here in NYC and abroad. The Onyx gang was very important to how things got done in the 90's. Shout to the whole Onyx for this very necessary street anthem.

I was watching a NYC street documentary and it reminded me of this joint here. Erick Sermon, along with the introduction of Keith Murray take it to the streets on this gutter joint. The production on this track is the definition of dope! Shout to E-Dub & Keith Murray for this Grand Royal masterpiece. If you got a crew you better tell'em.

Whenever you link up the illest Mc's out of the 5 boroughs on a track, your gonna get joints hot like acid. Strict rhyming skills and official street credit is what would get you a ticket in this studio. D&D all stars took the collaboration method to a Higher Level (Pun Intended). Not sure exactly these dudes were smoking when the came up with the concept but whatever it was, Pass That!!
