Rock Box is one of the first joints to make that crossover from a Hip Hop audience to the Rock audience and the absolute first Hip Hop video to air on MTV. A big move in Hip Hop when the costumes in some Rap acts were dropped to make way for a more NYC street look. With (RIP) Jam Master Jay on the cuts delivering a raw sound that gave birth to some of the sounds that we hear today. There is no other way to put it...No RUN DMC, NO HIP HOP!!!
